Heart in Mind?

In the context of talk therapy, the phrase “Heart in Mind” refers to an integrated approach where both emotional and cognitive aspects of a person’s experience are acknowledged and worked through. It offers a therapeutic process that considers both the heart (emotions, feelings, and personal experiences) and the mind (thoughts, beliefs, and cognitive patterns).

When our therapists encourage clients to bring both their heart and mind into the conversation, we are inviting the individual to explore their emotional experiences while also examining how their thoughts and mental patterns might influence or be influenced by those emotions. This balanced approach can help foster deeper self-awareness,  promote healing and personal growth.
